Averofio Alexandria School Classmates Reunion

Alexandria 1960 - Athens 2010

We managed to keep in touch for half a century. We had the opportunity to meet 10 and 20 years ago, so we decided to celebrate our reunion in Athens with a dinner on 16 September 2010 followed by a 3day excursion to S.E. Peloponnese (Mystras, Monemvassia, Elafonissos).

Participants travelled from the U.K., the Netherlands, Germany and S. Africa.

Sweet memories of our youth were revived. Pictures and events of that time were brought back like a film. It seemed as if we had been away for a little while.

We parted with the promise to meet again, of course not 50 years later…
